Testimony Share

Please share with us your testimony. We would love to hear how God touched your life. God made nobody alike and every journey is different. We are the salt of the earth. But God meets us there. Personal and up close. He changes our lives and we are never the same person we were ever again. It's a blessing to hear a testimony and hear God's love towards his creation. Lives that are in pain and are seeking out something that only Jesus Christ can give them. Many don't believe there is a God that can forgive them and that their sin or life is unimaginable and unforgivable. Then they hear testimonies. God put EVERYTHING in place for a reason. God is good.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:11

Praise Report From Prison:

   Dear Chege Outreach Ministries:

Peace be and Blessings to You! A few weeks ago, an inmate brother came to me with one of your newsletters. I was greatly impressed and moved at how the Lord is working the harvest overseas. Praise God for allowing your ministry to reach the remote areas of Africa! As the coming of our Lord draws very near, it is important for us to stay steadfast in our commitment to evangelize these areas of the world. I know that the way and resources are difficult and limited, but it all eternally pays off in saved souls. We here in the U.S. so sadly take for granted the blessings without much recognition to the Lord. That is why the church in the U.S. is not seeing the manifestation of miracles like other parts of the world.

Stay Blessed, encouraged, and steadfast in your convictions to serve Jesus. Your ministry is in my prayers.

In Christian Love, -Anonymous

The Joy of Sowing:

We are both honored and blessed that God has called us to partner with Joshua and Hannah Chege! God has graciously caused us to consider our future wealth : will we grow and prosper ourselves like most American Christians, or will we invest heavily where moths do not eat and rust cannot destroy (James 5)? As we have chosen to sow eternal seeds, God has shown us the most fertile fields in Africa through CHEGE MINISTRIES!! Our desire has caused us to pledge in faith large sums well beyond our means, and GOD HAS PROVIDED!!!

We encourage you to test how fertile this ground is, how favored of God this ministry is, and wether God calls YOU to carry His cross as we do. Words cannot express the exceeding great joy and peace we dwell in as a result of our decision. HE IS FAITHFUL AND TRUE!!! We see the value of the eternal harvest! Come join us!

Church Pastor:

I am delighted to contribute to Outreach News Letter.

I am blessed that I was included in this trip to Kenya. When we landed in Nairobi, those that were there welcomed me home. That became the begining of a very special bonding with the wonderful people. This was my third trip but this one became ministry to family... these are my people, my family, they treat me that way and I feel the same.

The conference and Training Seminars were very special times of the Lord's presence. I can only share what was spoken publicly; "this isthe most powerful, annointed, life changing, life impacting seminar in the last 18 years." TO GOD BE THE GLORY. Pastors publicly said to Pastor Joshua and myself, "We are not going to let you go home. You must stay another month. If you cannot, than you must come back again this year and teach us more." Two words come to mind, "SPIRITUAL HUNGER."

There are so many urgent needs: displaced families, a refugee camp ministry, Pastors. Children's Ministry, mud floors in churches that need concrete, roofs that need to be finished, plastered walls to finish. The list is unending. We gave clothes, money for roofs and the refugee camp. I was especially touched by the children's Ministry with Pastor Frances and those who work with them...they started with 4-5 children and in a year were having 45, a small building, mud floor and little else. We bought mattresses(Kenya requires that the children sleep in the aft.), and blankets, and we are raising money for a concrete floor. Some of those little precious babies were sleeping on wooden benches 8 inches wide.

We put stones in place for Speaking Stone Ministry Training Center. What a vision Pastor Joshua has for this ministry. When I stood and Joshua assisted me-for 2 hours or more answering questions from Pastors and church leaders, you get an idea of the hunger and what God is doing in Kenya.

I pray that somehow, God touched many hearts to give, pray and remember always these precious people and magnitude of the needs-beyond what I have mentioned.

To those of you who read this letter-May God's richest blessings be your personal possessions today and always".

May the Lord stir up in your heart the love to sow the seed and invest in His Kingdom. There was so much undone in Kenyain such a short time! However, together we can do it! We can rebuild! Your gift is tax exempt.

SouthWest State University:

   Dear Joshua:

Here are some reaction papers by students who heard you speak during your most recent visit to Southwest State University. You will see that they deeply appreciated the opportunity to hear you. Many were inspired by your message of commitment and forgiveness.

I, too, felt priviledged to hear you, and I hope that you will return to my classes if and when you pass through Marshall again.

As you know, I will be in Denmark from January through June 2001, But I will be back at SSU in the fall, again teaching two sections of "Introduction to Sociology."

I wish you the best in your mission.

   Sincerely, -Anonymous
